Framed under the Jerusalem Design Week, we aim to challenge the meanings and codes that shape our identities when attached to the built environment. We propose MAIZ  III, an interactive installation prompted by corn that places together objects-actors and subjects-actors within lost-in-translation realities. We propose a combination of handcrafted devices and AI devices to provoke an exchange of meanings and empathy through the space of a table. MAIZ  III will offer punctual workshops with corn husk transformations and testimonies, performing as an accumulation of previous MAIZ sessions, a stage for the understanding between Latinx and Israeli cultures through a common ground for interactions.
